Story Synopsis:

Ever been tempted to swipe someone else’s bag from the luggage carousel? Every wondered what would happen next if you did?

I’m lying under our duvet, half an hour after the alarm, post bad sex, pre-shower, listening to Martin. ‘That’s the trouble with you Sharona, always over-thinking.’

I just admitted that I didn’t have an orgasm, and I have a lot on my mind. He thinks the two are linked. I explained about my assertiveness audio course, my imminent journey of transformation and self-discovery involving Zumba, smiling more and quitting my job. I left out the part about ending it with him; I’m still over-thinking that.

Tell us about the location you chose for your SUNLOUNGER short story… I chose Mallorca because I’ve been there on holiday and wished I could live there forever, plus I have a beautiful friend who works there and who I’m jealous of. I based a character on her.

Have your books featured any exotic destinations? OMG BABY – which is a sequel to NEVER GOOGLE HEARTBREAK – begins in Northern Spain and there are some scenes in Dublin as well.

If you could live anywhere in the world… I love Northumbria’s wild and windy coast because it’s beautiful and remote, imagine a house by the sea, roaring fire, beach walks, make your own fruit bowl out of driftwood… you with me? Okay, South of France then.

Destination you’ve returned to the most times? Singapore because I used to live there.

Ticket, passport, money and… A great book, a black eyeliner and someone at home to gloat to.

Favourite cuisine from around the world? Thai green curry with king prawns and coconut rice.

Favourite holiday cocktail? Margarita – unbeatable.

Best holiday romance: My honeymoon in Windermere staying at the gorgeous Samling hotel and ordering high tea every afternoon

Worst holiday romance: My honeymoon in Windermere being made to climb ‘Cat Bells’ on a twelve-mile hike.
