    Destination: Alonnisos, Greece
    Sunlounger Stories 1
    (Buy it!)

    Story Synopsis:

Ginger’s plans for a debauched last hoorah on an 18-30s holiday are scuppered by true romance. For her best friend. So now what?

    Sneak peek of story:

Someone recently said to me that turning thirty marked the slow and final descent into a life of ‘meh’.

As if suddenly, on my thirtieth birthday, I would sprout hair on my chin and become magically interested in pension plans and the origin of my coffee beans. For me, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Tell us about the location you chose for your SUNLOUNGER short story: I chose beautiful Alonnisos, which is one of the Greek Sporades islands. I was lucky enough to live there for 6 months and it changed my life.

Have your books featured any exotic destinations? No. My first novel, YOURS TRULY, is set in rainy Manchester and a very snowy North Yorkshire!

If you could live anywhere in the world… Right here in the UK, near my friends and family. The UK is awesome. Failing that, Nantucket, Massachusetts because I sometimes dream that I live there and I’m always happy in those dreams.

Destination you’ve returned to the most times? Alonnisos! My mother in law lives there so we go out to visit her. I think even if she wasn’t there we would return time and time again.

Ticket, passport, money and… My boyfriend, Edd.

Favourite cuisine from around the world? Greek food, definitely. The nicest dish I’ve had there is one called Spetzofai (which always sounds like a Harry Potter spell to me – SPETZOFAI!). Spetzofai is basically spicy sausages with peppers and tomato. It’s delicious.

Favourite holiday cocktail? Apple Mojito. No diggity, no doubt.
