Tell us about the location you chose for your SUNLOUNGER short story… PABLO is set in Spain because it’s one of my favourite holiday destinations. From fun-packed holidays with girl friends in Ibiza, to renting a villa with my family or just chilling in Marbella with my boyfriend, I have always managed to have a wonderful time. The Spanish are warm and friendly and I love everything about their language and culture, from the delicious tapas to the splashes of jewel-bright flowers that tumble from the windowsills.
Have your books featured any exotic destinations? In ELLIE ANDREWS HAS SECOND THOUGHTS my heroine travels to Oahu, in the Hawaiian islands. She holidays in Honolulu on Waikiki Beach. I visited Honolulu a while back and I adored it!
If you could live anywhere in the world… I love the Caribbean! I can’t imagine living anywhere better than Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman with its icing sugar sand and clear turquoise water! Add to that the weather, kind Caymanians and stunning wildlife – what more could you want?
Destination you’ve returned to the most times? It has to the Med. I love Italy and have visited Sorrento and Positano several times. Pasta, ice cream and hot guys on scooters!
Favourite cuisine from around the world? Seafood! I adore mussels.
Favourite holiday cocktail? I could drink buckets of Piña Colada. It isn’t that alcoholic either…honestly!
What was your best and worst holiday romance? Best – meeting my Hawaiian boyfriend when I was seventeen. Worst – the awful holiday I had in Mexico with my ex-husband. I filed for divorce when I got home!
